About The Role

As a Senior IT Auditor, you will lead complex audits of IT systems, applications, and processes to ensure IT controls, cybersecurity, and data management practices are robust, secure and compliant. You will:

Conduct risk assessments across technology infrastructure, systems and IT applicationsReview IT general controls, application controls, cybersecurity frameworks, data privacyEvaluate third-party IT vendors, cloud environments and Saas environmentsPartner with IT and business teams to identify control gaps, recommend solutions and monitor corrective actionsPresent audit findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders

About You

Proven experience conducting IT auditsSkilled in using data analytics tools to assess risk and controlsStrong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work effectively across teams.Can manage multiple assignments, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlinesKnowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

Essential Requirements Of The Role

Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or equivalent workplace experience.Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education. Current and valid Working with Children Check Clearance for paid employment.
