About the role
The Salesforce System Analyst works in the Data Operations team to support and enhance the Salesforce platform, including improving system functionality, maintaining platform stability, managing user access and data security, resolving complex system issues, delivering documentation and training, and collaborating with business, vendor, and technical teams to ensure secure, reliable, and high-value Salesforce operations that meet organisational needs.
Your responsibilities:
4. Enhance and optimise Salesforce to meet organisational goals and ensure policy compliance
5. Lead the design, configuration, testing and rollout of new features and integrations
6. Resolve Level 2/3 issues and work with stakeholders and vendors to improve system reliability
7. Uphold data security and governance through effective control of access, roles and data integrity
8. Strengthen platform performance and user capability through release management, documentation, training and targeted reporting.

9. Stakeholder engagement experience across Government, NGOs, or the private sector.
10. Advanced Salesforce certifications.
11. Strong skills in Salesforce administration, support, and configuration.
12. Knowledge of Salesforce best practice, governance, and security
13. Experience across the full product lifecycle.
14. Commitment to the Department's policies and frameworks.
Key Knowledge and experience
15. Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
Essential requirements of the role
16. Current and valid Working with Children Check Clearance for paid employment.
17. IT Degree or Relevant Experience
18. Salesforce certification is Desirable
19. Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
