We're looking for an all-rounder to join our growing communications team at Coliban Water as an Education & Events Officer.
**Description**:
Roles like these ones don't come up very often. You'll work collaboratively to build a dynamic and diverse education and events calendar filled with interactive and engaging ways to bring the Coliban Water story and our plans and projects to life.
You'll take on day-to-day responsibility for the operational and administrative coordination of high quality, face-to-face, hybrid and online events, including:
- The strategic consideration of opportunities
- Planning, scheduling and rostering
- Developing event briefs
- Identifying and nurturing partnerships with community groups, schools, and other key groups
- Develop and manage promotional items
- Draft and coordinate event publicity and promotion
- Set-up evaluation methodology and undertake reporting
Together with the team, you'll ensure our education and events program has clear and measurable objectives and increases customer and community awareness of how we sustainably manage our precious water resource for the future.
To be successful in this role, you'll be a people person first and foremost. You'll be naturally curious, at your happiest talking with people of all ages and from all walks of life, a dedicated problem solver, unafraid to roll your sleeves up, and fantastic at dotting your I-s and crossing your T-s.
We've got an open mind. With a background in marketing, communication, education and training, events may be squarely in your wheelhouse. Or, you may have different experience, and think this might be your time to shine.
