Role Highlights
This role focuses on driving commercial growth and optimising retail performance across the airport network.
Key Responsibilities Include
* Developing and delivering long-term retail master plans aligned to business strategy and passenger growth
* Conducting financial modelling, revenue forecasting and commercial analysis
* Identifying and developing new retail and advertising opportunities
* Leading lease negotiations and commercial agreements
* Monitoring performance metrics and implementing revenue optimisation strategies
* Building strong relationships with travel retail and high street brands
* Leading and supporting the Retail Team across Cairns and Mackay Airports
* Collaborating with finance, legal, marketing and operations teams to deliver commercial outcomes
* Managing retail space optimisation and improving sales per square metre across retail sites

About You
* Bachelor's degree in business, Finance or a related field
* Experience in retail planning, financial modelling and revenue forecasting
* Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams
* Experience negotiating leases and commercial agreements
* Strong understanding of retail performance drivers and commercial strategy
* Experience managing stakeholder and tenant relationships
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong organisational, time and priority management skills
* Ability to make data-driven commercial decisions
Experience within airports, retail property, commercial property, travel retail or complex operational environments will be highly regarded.

* Unrestricted rights to work in Australia.
* Ability to obtain and maintain an Aviation Security Identification Card.
