Responsibilities

- Full time role located in Melbourne
- Perform all Tool crib duties of dispensing serviceable tools and equipment to operational staff for aircraft maintenance activities
- Ensure tooling and equipment is properly maintained, and scheduled servicing/repairs are carried out, including running frequent asset management tooling reports
- Support the operational business unit inside the tool crib by dispensing consumables, radios and headsets to ensure asset availability
- Conduct administrative and compliance tasks relating to Aircraft Tooling and equipment such as audits, stock-takes and reporting compliance matters
Qualifications & Skills
- Ability to correctly identify and understand aircraft tooling and equipment requirements
- Understand asset management and maintenance policies and work within the approved information data system
- Sound computer skills with ability to use standard desktop software for tooling and equipment
- Experience in tooling management and risk assessment
- Robust written and verbal communication skills
- Trade qualification in a related field (desirable)
- Good technical background and knowledge of aircraft tooling and equipment
- Ability to problem solve during operational maintenance activities relating to tooling
- Ability to work across a 24/7 roster
- Show initiative in managing urgent aircraft tooling requests when working alone
- Prior experience in a similar role
- Ability to obtain CAT II airside driver's licence
