You will join the Macquarie Asset Management Finance team, within the Financial Management, People and Engagement Group. We are a diverse and vibrant team who are responsible for supporting and advising key stakeholders including the Macquarie Asset Management CFO on accounting implications relating to transactions within the Macquarie Asset Management business.

What role will you play?

You will partner with a range of stakeholders to advise on the accounting implications of transactions to the business and entities, recognising and communicating potential opportunities for more efficient outcomes. You will collaborate with offshore and onshore teams to ensure transactions are appropriately accounted in the financial statements. Utilising your technical accounting expertise, you will advise on the impacts of new products, M&As; and other complex transactions, whilst shaping the impact of forthcoming accounting and regulatory updates by recommending changes accordingly.

What You Offer

- CA or CPA qualified
- 5+ years’ experience within a technical accounting/audit/finance role, advising on transactions, ideally with a focus on asset management, banking or financial services
- Strong communicator, with the ability to convey complex accounting issues to varying types of stakeholders
- Commercial mindset and robust problem‑solving skills, with an ability to translate technical accounting knowledge into commercially viable transaction structuring options
- Prior financial control experience is valuable.
