The Opportunity
Reporting to MyneSight's Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in being the point of contact for our government and non-government funded training programs as well as arranging training and development initiatives and projects.
Monitor progression of trainees in aXcelerate and maintain employee records and systems;
Administrate traineeship life cycle from enrolment, unit completions, funding applications and when funding is received;
Attend client or government meetings as and when required via Teams or in person;
Attend various client sites / business locations across the Bowen Basin (approx. 1-2 days per month) utilising a company pool vehicle;
Provide regular reporting to our team on traineeship progression;
Work with our Operations Scheduler to schedule trainee training as and when required;
Support the team to ensure compliance per ASQA and DESBT/DTET Standards, etc;
Review assessment practices to particular site processes;
Maintain partnerships with government, educational and other organisations to support training programs and initiatives;
Keep up to date with government funded programs and initiatives; and
Ensure all administration processes and record-keeping obligations are delivered.
The Person
Our Traineeship Administrator is highly organised, incredibly efficient in managing trainees across various clients and has an "eye for detail" second to none. No matter how busy you are, your ability to build personable relationships with people on all levels will shine through and create an everlasting positive experience for our trainees, clients and key suppliers partnering with our RTO.
Skills and experience required:
Strong communication, interpersonal skills and high attention to detail is essential;
Outstanding time management skills and ability to prioritise various tasks is required;
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word is a must;
Strong networking skills and ability to build positive relationships (internal and external) are critical.
The following would be advantageous:
Prior experience in a similar position (ideally managing government funded traineeships);
Understanding and knowledge of compliance requirements with ASQA and DESBT/DTET;
Understanding of compliance requirements under Coal Mining and WHS legislation;
Prior experience with training system databases.
