About the role
Advanta Seeds Pty Ltd (trading as Pacific Seeds) is seeking full time Agriculture Research Scientists / Research Agronomists (ANZSCO to join its operations. You will have the opportunity to work within a world-class plant breeding and agronomy program for a global leader in agricultural innovation. Candidates will hold a relevant Bachelor Degree level qualification in Agriculture, Agronomy, Agricultural Science/Agricultural Engineering or similar field. Candidates will also hold at least 1 year of relevant experience. Capabilities include strong research and technical expertise with proven ability to work in field and laboratory observations, as well as ability to work as part of a professional team and independently in field based environments. This is a in-office role to be based out of our head office in Toowoomba, Qld.
Key capabilities include but are not limited to:
* Bachelor degree or higher in Agricultural Science, Applied Science or Rural Science.
* Broadacre dryland crop research experience is highly desirable.
* A current 'C' class drivers licence.
* Results-driven, with a focus on achieving targets and delivering outcomes.
* Proven ability to work autonomously.
