Vickers Road Community Childcare Centre is a community-based, not-for-profit Early Childhood Education and Care service seeking an experienced and capable Administration Officer (Level 4) to support the financial and administrative operations of our centre.

Working closely with the Centre Director and Parent Management Committee, this role carries responsibility for financial reporting, compliance oversight, and the day-to-day administration of the service.

Financial Management & Reporting

* Prepare and reconcile BAS and superannuation reports

* Maintain accounts payable and receivable using MYOB

* Prepare monthly financial reports for the Centre Director and Parent Management Committee

* Monitor fee collection, CCS reconciliation, and financial records

* Identify and resolve financial discrepancies independently

* Ensure compliance with regulatory, governance, and not-for-profit obligations

Administration & Compliance

* Manage day-to-day administrative operations, including enrolments and attendance records

* Conduct internal audits in line with the Annual Reporting Schedule

* Maintain compliance and governance documentation

* Support implementation of policies and procedures

* Provide administrative support for committee meetings and reporting

Customer Service & Centre Support

* Greet families and support new families transitioning into the service

* Professionally manage phone calls and parent enquiries

* Assist with stock ordering, bill payments, and general administrative tasks

* Support the Centre Director to ensure smooth operational workflows

About You

* Demonstrated experience in financial administration and reporting

* MYOB experience essential; CCS/CCMS knowledge highly desirable

* Strong organisational, problem-solving and time management skills

* Ability to work independently and maintain high levels of accuracy

* Professional, approachable and family-focused manner

* Commitment to child safety and confidentiality

* Understanding of not-for-profit governance processes

Experience in Early Childhood Education and Care is desirable but not essential.

Mandatory Requirements

* Current (or willingness to obtain) Queensland Working with Children Check (Blue Card)

* Completion (or willingness to complete) Child Protection training
