About The Role
We are seeking an Production Excavator Operators to join our Production Mining Team on a 2/1 FIFO roster. Youll be responsible for safe and efficient operation of large-scale mining equipment, working to design parameters, and contributing to a high-performing team. Key Responsibilities
* Operate excavators efficiently, safely, and competently to achieve maximum output.
* Work to design boundaries of ore bodies, berms, and pit walls.
* Ensure floor levels are maintained, dilution is minimised, and design tolerances achieved.
* Load haul trucks in production mining environments.
* Conduct pre-start checks and maintain high housekeeping standards.
* Follow Thiess safety policies and respond to Mining Supervisor instructions.
Skills And Experience Required
* Minimum 12 months experience as a mining production excavator operator.
* Proven experience operating:
* Hitachi 3600 or larger
* CAT 3600
* Liebherr 9400
* Skilled in loading haul trucks in production mining operations.
* Additional haul truck operating skills required.
* Preference for multi-skilled operators with dozer and/or loader experience.
* Strong safety focus and team-oriented attitude.
