As a Reporter, you'll create compelling content across multiple platforms, from breaking news to in-depth features, reflecting the diversity of the Illawarra region and beyond. This is an opportunity to work in a collaborative team, contributing to Australia's most respected news organisation.
The Job
* Produce and present news reports, bulletins, interviews, and packages across all platforms.
* Generate stories that resonate with local communities and reflect Australia's cultural and socio-economic diversity.
* Contribute to planning, commissioning, and emergency coverage processes.
* Engage with audiences and maintain strong community connections.
* Collaborate to share local and regional stories across ABC platforms.
Position Description:

About You
You're a creative storyteller with strong editorial judgment and a passion for local news.
You'll have:
* Experience in creating and presenting compelling news content across multiple platforms.
* Proven ability in live presentation and broadcast, with strong content creation skills.
* A sound understanding of issues affecting local audiences and a commitment to diversity in storytelling.
* Possession of a current and valid Driver's Licence.
