Position Overview
Seeking an experienced Operations Manager with a strong background in import/export, Cargowise operations, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* The ideal candidate will be confident in quoting, closing jobs, and preparing reports for agents, with a collaborative, team-player approach, while leading the day to day running of the operations team on a daily basis.
* Some interstate travel is required to onboard clients (typically 2 days every 3 months).
Qualifications and Experience
* Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in freight forwarding or logistics operations
* Experience managing customer service, quoting, and job closure processes
* Strong reporting and organisational skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
