PRIMARY OBJECTIVES OF THE POSITION
The Cleaner is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, hygiene, and general upkeep of the facility. This role contributes to a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment by carrying out regular cleaning duties and performing light maintenance and repair work across the facility.
Responsibilities:
* Clean and sanitize all areas of the company, including offices, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas
* Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors and carpets
* Empty trash and recycling bins
* Restock supplies, such as paper towels, toilet paper, and soap
* Notify management of any maintenance or repair needs
* Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
* Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times
The ideal person for the job:
* Previous experience in cleaning
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to lift and move heavy objects, such as furniture and equipment
* Flexibility to work between 7am and 7pm
