Job Title: General Practitioner - Ravenshoe Practice Information:
Family rural practice in beautiful climate of Atherton tablelands. Close rural communities serviced by GP practice with recent GP clinic attached to local state school. Currently 3 GPs one registrar and visiting medical students.
Option of state health fractional appointment if desired. Opportunities for families wanting to live and settle here.
Ideal all year round climate with real estate opportunity to set up rural lifestyle life which includes farming, fishing, water and land activities bush walking, quad and trail biking, mountain biking and don't forget climate safety and star gazing. State and catholic schools located in main town.
Position Description: GP in busy rural general practice services 3 towns with local pharmacy. Patients mainly retired farmers and cattle station folk with local timber mill, aged care, young families & lots of skin surgery.
QAS in town, Allied health in Atherton with some visiting services. Telehealth available.
After Hours: Yes, if part of QH appointment AH on call to state health nursing home Qualification and Experience: GP fellowship preferred
