They are looking for a full time Exercise Physiologist, but happy to negotiate hours for the right candidate. You will be exposed to a varied private practice caseload which may include: chronic disease management, sports Injuries, elite athletes, NDIS clients, DVA clients, home care package clients and work cover clients. The Position Leap Health is seeking a highly motivated, organised and enthusiastic team member who can perform the below responsibilities: Prevent, treat and manage health conditions (including diseases, disorders, traumas and injuries) including complex and chronic conditions. Improve and maintain health status and function. Work with both individuals and groups in a professional manner. Screen, assess and measure capacity and function for activities of daily living and work-related activities and to inform interventions. You'll also prescribe, deliver, adapt and evaluate movement, physical activity, and exercise-based interventions to: Facilitate recovery and maximise independence Empower people to improve health outcomes and self-manage health conditions Coach and motivate to increase engagement and self-efficacy in treatment and physical activity, all whilst taking into consideration the client’s preferences, needs, barriers and goals. Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology ESSA registration CPR and First Aid Experience required? This role would suit either a new graduate or an experienced clinician looking to stretch themselves in new ways.
