We invite you to submit your application for the part-time position of Administration Officer - Economic Development. This position provides support to the Destination Harvey Region team and the Manager Economic Development with administrative duties.
Benefits and Conditions
Conditions of employment are prescribed by the Local Government Officers' (WA) Award 2021 with a salary payable for this position of Level 4 $74,120 to $78,415 per annum pro-rata, depending on qualifications and experience:
* Superannuation of 12 per cent occupational superannuation from date of commencement, with an opportunity that the Shire will match an employee's voluntary contribution to their nominated plan provided that employee contributes an amount of at least 5 per cent or 6 per cent of their own salary.
* A probationary period of three months is applicable to this position.
* Part-time position, 48 hours per fortnight.
* Located at the Australind Administration Building. You may be required to work at other locations throughout the Shire as directed by your reporting officer.
* Four weeks pro-rata paid annual leave, including a 17.5 per cent leave loading.
* Free membership to the Leschenault Leisure Centre, the Harvey Recreation and Cultural Centre and the Dr Peter Topham Memorial Swimming Pool.
* A medical examination and a current police clearance will be required prior to appointment, costs to be reimbursed by the Shire.
