Your new role
Working as a Design Project Manager, you will be responsible for the following below:
* Lead and manage the design phase of infrastructure projects including roads, drainage, buildings, and bridges
* Coordinate stakeholder engagement, permits, and approvals
* Oversee consultant procurement and contract management
* Ensure compliance with OH&S, environmental, and quality standards
* Manage project budgets, timelines, and risk registers
* Prepare detailed reports and documentation for internal and external audiences
What you'll need to succeed
You are a proactive and experienced project manager with a strong background in infrastructure design. You thrive in complex environments and have a proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver outcomes that meet strategic and community needs.
* Tertiary qualifications in engineering, construction, or project management (or equivalent experience)
* Extensive experience in municipal infrastructure design and construction
* Strong project and contract management skills
* High-level communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement capabilities
* Proficiency in risk management and budget control
