Total Remuneration $155,922 to $162,773 pa (including salary $131,757 to $137,546 plus 17% superannuation and leave loading).
Overview

This role leads the Education Quality and Integrity Directorate (EQID) and ensures the highest standards of educational quality and compliance across Higher Education and Vocational Education and Training (VET). You will oversee quality assurance initiatives, develop the University's educational quality framework, and manage audit, compliance, accreditation and academic integrity activities.
Responsibilities
Oversee quality assurance initiatives aligned with TEQSA, ASQA, CRICOS and other regulatory frameworks.
Lead development and implementation of the University's educational quality framework.
Manage audit, compliance and accreditation activities.
Champion academic integrity by driving strategies, policies and investigations.
Manage the VET Quality Unit and Academic Integrity Unit, ensuring policies meet standards and legislative requirements.
Maintain compliance registers, oversee external referencing and benchmarking, prepare regulatory submissions.
Provide expert advice on academic misconduct investigations, including contract cheating.
Mentor and lead staff, fostering professional development and team performance.
Engage in governance and reporting to senior executives and committees.
Qualifications
Relevant degree with at least four years of subsequent experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Extensive expertise in academic misconduct and integrity.
Familiarity with tertiary education regulatory bodies and policy development.
Proven experience investigating and reporting academic integrity matters within the tertiary sector.
Understanding of current academic misconduct issues, trends and strategies in higher education and VET.
Successful assessment of a Fit and Proper Person Declaration under the National Vocational Education and Training Regulator instrument
