Job Description
The Senior Logistics Officer oversees and coordinates all logistics activities related to furniture movement, storage, and lifecycle management. This involves leading inventory control processes, conducting regular stock-taking, and ensuring accurate record-keeping to support organizational planning and operation efficiency.
In addition to inventory control, the role involves supervising the custodial cleaning team to ensure that accommodation facilities are maintained to required cleanliness, safety, and functional standards. The position supports organizational objectives by ensuring furniture assets are effectively managed and facilities remain clean, safe, and operational ready.
This role encompasses end-to-end management of furniture logistics, including asset tracking, stock taking, warehouse organization, inventory reconciliation, and coordination of furniture deliveries, installations, relocations, and disposals. The Senior Logistics Officer maintains inventory databases, collaborates on furniture and related supplies, and ensures compliance with asset management policies.
Responsibilities include reporting on inventory and custodial performance, assisting furniture deliveries, operating a furniture truck, identifying risks, and driving continuous improvement across both logistics and cleaning teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Minimum Essential Vocational training and qualifications in Transport and Logistics fields or equivalent demonstrated experience
* Experience with MS Office operating system, inventory warehouse management, and ability to work professionally with minimal supervision
* Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with varied stakeholders
