The role
Reliable Garden Services ACT is seeking an experienced and dedicated Gardener to join our team on a casual basis working 3-5 days per week. We work Monday to Friday between 8:30am and 5:00pm. As a Gardener with us, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the beautiful gardens and outdoor spaces at residential and larger properties around south Canberra.
What you'll be doing
* Mowing, edging and maintaining lawns to a high standard
* Pruning, trimming and shaping shrubs and hedges
* Planting and caring for a variety of flowers and plants
* Weeding, mulching and fertilising garden beds
* Performing other general garden maintenance tasks such as blowing off pathways and driveways
* Providing high-quality customer service and communicating effectively with clients
What we're looking for
* Proven experience as a Gardener or Landscaper, preferably in a commercial and residential settings
* Professional gardening experience required
* Sound knowledge of plants, gardening techniques and the use of gardening tools and equipment
* Proficiency with mowers, blowers, hedgers and brush cutters is essential
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team to complete tasks efficiently
* Good physical fitness and stamina to perform physical gardening duties
* Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work with a diverse range of clients
* A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of work
* Valid Australian work rights required for this position
* Own transport so as to not be reliant on being picked up and dropped off
