About the Role:

Reporting into the Team Manager and playing a critical role to our success, your responsibilities will include:

* Day-to-day technical delivery across multiple projects ranging from longer term greenfield projects to modernisation and/or refurbishment of Brownfield facilities.
* Hands on involvement with site audits, developing work packs and BOMs, review of engineering specifications, detailed design and code development through to FAT, SAT and commissioning stages.
* Assisting with subcontractor management, developing pricing and scope as well as E&I estimates and breakdown of tasks.
* Problem solving and troubleshooting across the entire life cycle of the project, ensuring a timely and structured approach used for issue resolution.
* Applying sound technical knowledge of control systems and technologies across a range of clients and industry portfolios.
* Working collaboratively within dynamic multi-disciplinary project teams, involvement in progress meetings and client interactions.
* Assisting in business development activities as required, involvement in proposal writing and tender submissions with clients.
* Ongoing training and development including a mixture of practical & theoretical in-house and external training programs.

About You:

* Tertiary qualifications in a relevant engineering field, this can be Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or other engineering backgrounds.
* You will have a hands on and collaborative nature, with some experience working on the delivery of automation/controls capital projects.
* You will ideally have experience programming PLCs and SCADA technologies.
* You will also have experience in E&I scoping, design and development tasks related to delivery of engineering projects.
* You will have proven experience in a highly regulated or high-risk industry; water/utilities, oil & gas, pharmaceutical or FMCG environments.
* Engineering Consultancy experience will be highly regarded, but not essential.
* You must be a great communicator, with proven skills working in a team dynamic and able to ask the right questions!
* We are looking for this person to grow with the business, ideally you will be self-driven with the willingness to learn and develop.
