About the Role
We're looking for a Social Media Manager with a strong passion for video-led storytelling and end-to-end content creation.
This is a hands-on, creative role responsible for planning, producing, editing, publishing, and optimising content across social platforms.
You'll work across short-form and long-form video, photography, and written content, owning the full content lifecycle from concept through to performance review and improvement.
You'll be working from a newly renovated, in-house podcast and content studio, fully equipped with professional lighting, cameras, and audio gear, giving you the tools and space to create high-quality content consistently.
This role suits someone who enjoys variety, creative ownership, and working on evolving projects with room to experiment and grow.
What You'll Be Responsible For
Content Planning & Strategy
Plan and manage content calendars aligned to brand goals and campaigns
Develop content ideas, themes, and formats across platforms
Contribute to monthly content strategy sessions with insights and recommendations
Identify opportunities for new content series and creative formats
Content Creation & Production
Capture high-quality video and photography using mobile and/or DSLR equipment
Produce short-form content (Reels, TikTok, Shorts)
Produce long-form content (YouTube-style videos, interviews, podcast-style content)
Work from our in-house podcast studio, managing lighting, camera, and audio setups
Ensure content is engaging, on-brand, and platform-appropriate
Editing & Post-Production
Edit video and imagery confidently for social-first performance
Edit and manage audio for long-form and podcast-style content
Create captions, overlays, and supporting visual elements
Optimise content formats for different platforms
(Experience with audio and podcast production is highly regarded but not essential.)
Publishing, Performance & Optimisation
Schedule and publish content across relevant social platforms
Monitor engagement, performance, and audience response
Use analytics and insights to refine content over time
Test and improve formats, hooks, and storytelling approaches
Reporting & Improvement
Track and report on content performance monthly
Share highs, lows, learnings, and next steps
Continuously refine content strategy based on data and feedback
Collaboration & Team Structure
You'll work alongside another Social Media Manager who owns a separate project
Each role has clear ownership and KPIs, while operating as part of one marketing team
From time to time, you may collaborate on content ideas and formats, sharing insights and best practices, or on larger projects or campaigns
Collaboration is encouraged, while ownership and accountability remain clear
About You
You're a creative self-starter who enjoys owning content from start to finish.
You're confident behind the camera, comfortable in editing software, and motivated by improving content performance over time.

Experience & Skills
Required
2+ years' experience in social media, content creation, or digital marketing
Strong videography and photography skills (DSLR preferred)
Confident editing using tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere/After Effects, Lightroom/Photoshop, Canva or similar, Instagram Edits
Experience creating content for multiple social platforms
Strong written communication and copywriting skills
Ability to plan, execute, and deliver content independently
Nice to Have
Experience producing long-form video content
Exposure to podcast or audio content production
Understanding of content performance and analytics
Experience contributing to brand or personal brand storytelling
