About the Role

An exciting opportunity is available to join the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Switchboard Operator, playing a vital role at the heart of hospital operations.

As a first point of contact for patients, staff and external stakeholders, you will deliver a professional, responsive and compassionate telecommunications service that supports safe, efficient hospital care. From answering and accurately diverting incoming calls to responding swiftly to emergency codes and alarms, your work will directly contribute to the smooth functioning of a busy, fast‐paced healthcare environment.

Beyond call handling, this role involves applying strong administrative skills in the day‐to‐day operations of the department. You will follow established procedures and policies while ensuring patient and staff information is handled accurately, confidentially and within required timeframes.
