Downer's Road Maintenance team delivers critical services that support safe, reliable road networks across South Australia. Based in Port Augusta, this hands‐on role will see you working across unsealed roads, bridges, signage, drainage and general road network maintenance. No two days are the same, and your work will directly support local communities across the region.
We're looking for motivated and dependable individuals who enjoy practical outdoor work, can travel for work when required, and take pride in delivering high‐quality maintenance outcomes.
ROAD MAINTENANCE WORKER
* Full‐time permanent position

What you'll bring
* Ability to work away from home and undertake manual handling tasks
* White Card (General Construction Induction Card) – essential
* C Truck Licence – preferred
* Experience operating mobile plant or equipment (road maintenance or asphalt experience advantageous)
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Strong team player with a positive attitude
* Reliable work ethic and commitment to delivering quality work
* Strong commitment to safety and maintaining a Zero Harm culture
