Fulltime position based in Bathurst

Amidst sustained growth, VERTO is seeking a highly motivated ICT Support Officer to join our dynamic IT Team. The role offers a diverse blend of support tasks across our systems alongside contributions to project work. You will play a significant role in our commitment to innovation and providing excellent assistance to our users in line with our SLA's. About the role….

Key responsibilities include:

* Provide hardware and software support (L1 and L2) to users for our business systems via phone and email within our service desk facility.
* Adhere to our internal service level agreements to ensure the best support to our users is being provided.
* Be involved in project related tasks that contribute to new innovations and platforms you will support.
* Collaborate and receive guidance from other IT team members to assist in the diagnoses of problems and address support more complex technical challenges (L3), escalating issues when necessary.
* Support the onboarding and offboarding processes for staff, ensuring proper account setup, access, and equipment provisioning.
* Conduct proactive maintenance, system monitoring, and performance tuning to ensure optimal system functionality and reliability.
* Occasional travel to sites for installation and upgrades of the systems you support, or for other related reasons.
* Participate in regular IT team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and service delivery inline with our ISO27001 obligations.

About you….

* Relevant ICT qualifications with a minimum two year's ICT related experience.
* Relevant industry certifications are beneficial but not required (with a desire to acquire new certifications).
* Proven experience providing ICT support within an business environment within service desk ticketing platforms.
* Strong communicator, team player and a proactive approach to work.
* Strong understanding of enterprise hardware and software platforms.
