Job No.: 679222 Location: Clayton campus Employment Type: Part-time, fraction (0.8) Duration: Fixed-term appointment until 30 June 2025 Remuneration: Pro-rata of $116,075 - $128,126 pa HEW Level 08 (plus 17% employer superannuation) Contribute to the optimum welfare of laboratory animals Provide support to interesting projects Be a part of an inclusive, collaborative team The Opportunity The Monash Animal Research Platform has a position available as a Veterinarian. You will apply your high-level veterinary expertise to provide best practice veterinary care for a range of species across the different MARP locations. Your responsibilities include delivering high-quality services such as animal health maintenance, monitoring, advanced veterinary procedures, and emergency care. This role will contribute to developing and implementing a best practice veterinary care program across MARP facilities. Reporting to the Veterinary Program Manager, the Veterinarian supports excellence in research animal use by providing expert advice, troubleshooting challenges, and delivering training to technicians and researchers. A veterinary degree registrable in Victoria is required. Experience in research animal settings is highly regarded.
