You will apply your high-level veterinary expertise to provide best practice veterinary care for a range of species across the different MARP locations. Your responsibilities include delivering high-quality services such as animal health maintenance, monitoring, advanced veterinary procedures, and emergency care. This role will contribute to developing and implementing a best practice veterinary care program across MARP facilities. Reporting to the Veterinary Program Manager, the Veterinarian supports excellence in research animal use by providing expert advice, troubleshooting challenges, and delivering training to technicians and researchers. A veterinary degree registrable in Victoria is required. Experience in research animal settings is highly regarded.
