Responsibilities & Expectations
* Passion or genuine interest in working in the disabilities sector.
* All registration requirements met for your current career level.
* Proficient report‐writing skills.
* Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and within a multidisciplinary team.
* Case formulation, treatment planning and evidence‐based intervention skills.
* Proficiency with individual, group and family therapies, parent and carer skill training.
* Psychometric assessment training and experience.
* Experience working with children, adolescents, and families.
* Reliable, self‐motivated, able to work independently.
* Eligible for registration with APHRA, Medicare, and posses public indemnity insurance.
* Collaborate with team members and other work groups to deliver routine mental health services.
* Participate in developing discipline‐specific treatment programmes for consumers with specific diagnoses.
* Apply independent clinical judgement and evidence‐based practice under clinical supervision.
* Work collaboratively with non‐government and other government agencies to provide appropriate health services for people living with disabilities.
Qualifications
* Full AHPRA registration and ability to apply for a Medicare Provider Number.
* ABN for contractor/sole trade work (for subcontractors).
* Police check and Works with Children check.
* Appropriate level of insurance (public indemnity).
* Evidence of vaccination or ability to be vaccinated against measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, pertussis, hepatitis B, and COVID‐19.
* Driver licence or public transport proficiency.
* Declaration of serious disciplinary history must be disclosed.
* Flexibility to work face‐to‐face, via telehealth or video health, and capacity to work from home if required.
