Position Overview
Human Resources Permanent and fixed-term (up to 12 months) opportunity available based at our St Lucia campus.
Base salary will be in the range $97K - $104K + 17% super (HEW Level 6).
Responsibilities
* Partner with hiring managers across the University to deliver smooth, organised recruitment – coordinating interviews, schedules and logistics.
* Provide practical advice to leaders who don't recruit every day.
* Ensure compliance and consistency across all recruitment activities, interpreting recruitment policy, enterprise agreement and relevant legislation.
* Navigate the complex hiring environment, setting managers up for success by proactively shaping sourcing strategies and driving targeted attraction activities.
* Collaborate with a supportive team that values integrity, mutual respect and inclusivity.
Qualifications
* Prior Talent Acquisition or broader HR experience.
* Ability to manage end-to-end recruitment processes independently.
* Strong judgement, ability to use escalation when needed, and calm response to urgent issues.
* High attention to detail ensuring hiring processes run smoothly.
* Experience interpreting policy and applying it confidently, including pushing back respectfully when required.
* Comfortable working in Workday or navigating multiple systems in a complex environment.
