A large, purpose‐driven public sector organisation is seeking a Principal IR/ER Consultant to provide expert advisory support during a period of increased complexity and demand.
This is a hands‐on, senior role where your technical expertise and sound judgment will directly influence workplace outcomes.
The Opportunity
* Lead investigations, discipline and dismissal processes
* Navigate conduct, performance and workplace disputes
* Provide authoritative advice on legislation and industrial instruments
* Prepare high‐quality briefs, submissions and documentation
* Strengthen leadership capability in managing people risk
What You'll Bring
* Deep expertise in employment and industrial relations legislation
* Proven experience managing complex investigations and disputes autonomously
* Strong written capability – briefs, submissions, formal correspondence
* Confidence advising senior stakeholders on high‐risk matters
* Sound judgment, discretion and resilience under pressure
* A proactive, solutions‐focused approach
Public sector or similarly regulated environment experience will be highly regarded.
