Ai-CHA is a fast-growing international tea and ice cream beverage brand with over 2,000 stores worldwide. Known for our innovative drinks and fun customer experiences, we continue to expand our footprint across Australia and internationally. To support this growth, we are seeking a dedicated Business Development Officer to join our Sydney-based team.
About the Role
This role plays a key part in driving franchise and business growth in Australia. You will be responsible for managing franchise enquiries, developing strong relationships with prospective partners, and supporting them throughout the entire journey — from initial contact through to onboarding.
This is a full-time, office-based position in Sydney, suited to someone who enjoys a structured, fast-paced environment and takes pride in building long-term business relationships.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and respond to inbound franchise enquiries and proactively generate new leads
* Qualify prospective partners and guide them through the evaluation and application process
* Conduct meetings, presentations, and follow-up discussions with potential franchisees
* Support partners through due diligence, documentation, and onboarding processes
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM and sales tracking systems
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition from sales to operations
* Monitor pipeline activity and contribute insights to support ongoing growth initiatives
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in business development, sales, franchise support, or a related role
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
* Well-organised with the ability to manage multiple prospects and priorities
* Comfortable working in a target-driven, office-based environment
* Mandarin language skills would be highly regarded
* An understanding of Southeast Asian markets (such as Malaysia or Indonesia) would be advantageous
* Experience in franchising, retail, or food & beverage is considered a strong advantage

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $55,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
