Role Requirements & Expectations
This is a site‑based position requiring a commitment to safety and quality project delivery, reporting directly to the Director and Operations Manager.
* Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
* Proven experience as a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer, ideally within the civil construction sector, with exposure to energy or water infrastructure projects up to $10M.
* Monitoring and controlling project performance, including scheduling, budget, quality control, and successful completion of project milestones.
* Taking a leading role on site, driving the daily execution and technical aspects of civil construction works.
* Strong technical background and understanding of civil construction methodologies, standards, and safety regulations.
* Serving as a primary point of contact, maintaining strong relationships and effective liaison with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
* Championing a culture of safety, ensuring rigorous adherence to all safety protocols and managing site safety operations. A demonstrated commitment to safety excellence is required.
* Must be a locally based candidate or willing to relocate to the Gippsland region (no DIDO arrangement on offer).
