Allied Health Clinic seeking an experienced Receptionist for a casual role between 2 busy clinics located in the northern suburbs. Excellent clinic location with parking, lovely clientelle and staff. We are seeking a person who has excellent customer service skills along with the ability to prioritise the work load in a busy practice. Need to have previous reception and computer billing experience.
Only applicants who are currently in Australia will be considered. We are not accepting overseas applicants for this position. It is a long term position, not suitable for WHV.
Duties include:
- Receiving patients, assisting elderly/disabled
- Computer appointment bookings (PracSuite), accounts, EFTPOS, HICAPS for 2 clinics.
- Typing medical reports and letters
- Opening and closing procedures, reconciliations
- Patient follow ups and recalls
- Assisting during procedures
- Sterilising medical instruments
- Room set up and clean up
- General cleaning
Desired applicant will have:
- Excellent customer service skills, phone skills (2 lines) and presentation
- Be flexible with start and finish times (earliest 7:45am, latest 7pm)
- Be reliable, trustworthy and hardworking
- Be a quick learner, fast mover and able to multi task
- Have the ability to prioritise work and think ahead
- Previous computer accounts knowledge
- Have own reliable transport, preferably within 30 mins commute.

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week
