THE OPPORTUNITY Location: Birtinya This role is responsible for leading the state logistics operation to ensure effective and efficient execution of the day-to-day operation in line with business objectives. The role will work with the wider logistics team to look for growth opportunities within the state, through commercial relationships that will fit the current strategic mix. YOUR RESPONSILBITIES This is a key role within the supply chain team, being responsible for: Ensuring there are minimal quality issues related to Transport performance. Managing sub-contractor invoicing, ensuring payments are processed in a timely manner. Ensure Transport scorecard is maintained monthly. Ensure the weekly cut-off requirements are met as per load plan. Completing safety reporting. Ensuring customer queries and complaints are dealt with efficiently and effectively. Manage workflows and resources to ensure optimum efficiency targets are met. Liaise with the operations team and Head of Operations. TO BE SUCCESSFUL You will bring with you: Highly developed time management, organisational and multitasking skills. Demonstrated the ability to work in a dynamic environment, displaying flexibly to meet changing needs, priorities, and deadlines. A team player who builds effective internal relationships. Competent data entry skills and proven experience in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word. Microsoft AX experience desirable but not essential. Ability to work autonomously. Prioritization skills. Experience 3-5 years' experience in a similar logistics role. Demonstrated exposure in an FMCG environment preferred.
