Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. This role is responsible for greeting guests, taking retail sales, providing factual information about the hospital and conducting frequent tours through the Hospital.

Main Responsibilities:

* Provide exceptional customer service at the front of house, including sales, merchandising and promotional activities.
* Maintain the hospital's tour schedule through effective communication with various departments and tour guides.
* Perform general administration duties, including drafting letters, scheduling meetings, preparing agendas and taking minutes.
* Organise business itineraries, travel arrangements, conferences and meetings.
* Compile office policies and procedures in conjunction with management.
* Assist the development manager with administrative tasks and provide input into the Raiser's Edge database.
* Contribute to the setup and pack down of conferences and meetings held in the facility.
* Handle cash transactions using the computerised register and answer incoming calls in a timely manner.
* Maintain the cleanliness of the Tour Desk Area, Conference Room and Office Area.
* Work collaboratively with other departments and managers to deliver high-quality events and activities.
* Support the team in operational aspects of key programs to ensure delivery of high-quality events and activities.

Essential Criteria:

* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
* Understanding of the not-for-profit sector.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
* Self-motivated and able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
* Well-developed organisational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
* Personable and approachable with excellent customer service skills.
* Commitment to privacy and confidentiality.
* Ability to work in a small team environment.
* Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* High level of interpersonal skills and ability to negotiate and communicate effectively with staff and constituents.

Preferred Criteria:

* Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
* Associated licenses; training, workplace health and safety.
* Current Manual Driver's License.
* Experience in a similar role.
* Education history.
* Employment history.
* References.
* Any qualifications or achievements.
