Maintenance Fitter - Rotating Day/Night Shifts | Casual to Perm | Major Food Manufacturer - Lara (VIC) | Rotating 8-Hour Shifts | 5 Days/Week
Join one of Australia's leading food manufacturers at their high-performing Lara site. We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to support site reliability across rotating day and night shifts. This is a casual position with a pathway to full-time employment after 6 months for the right person.

Your Responsibilities
- Perform breakdown repairs and planned preventative maintenance
- Ensure secure and efficient operations across a range of manufacturing equipment
- Identify and implement plant improvements and reliability solutions
- Install and test machine enhancements in line with product specifications
- Support production targets by minimising downtime
- Accurately record work using CMMS
What We’re Looking For
- Mechanical Trade Qualification (Essential)
- At least 2 years' experience in a manufacturing/maintenance environment
- Strong fault-finding, troubleshooting, and breakdown repair skills
- Exposure to PLCs and variable speed drives
- A safety-first mindset with strong communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Office & CMMS systems)
- Current Driver's Licence and HRW Forklift Licence
