FLYONIT is a leading IT service provider with over 15 years of experience in managed IT services, cloud solutions, and cybersecurity. We are seeking a skilled Computer Systems and Network Engineer – Level 2/3 to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the MSP industry, strong technical expertise, and the ability to design, implement, and support secure, high-performance network infrastructures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teams to design, coordinate, and oversee the installation of network and cloud infrastructure across multiple locations.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network switches, routers, firewalls, and other critical networking hardware, particularly Ubiquiti devices, Palo Alto Networks firewalls, and cloud-based environments.
- Configure and maintain Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments, ensuring seamless remote access and secure virtual workspace experiences.
- Configure and manage the full Microsoft 365 stack, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Intune, ensuring secure and efficient collaboration across the organization.
- End-user and server device management, including patch management and End-User Computing (EUC) environments.
- Perform Azure Cloud migrations, including data transfer, system upgrades, and cloud infrastructure setup.
- Configure and manage Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) and Microsoft Entra ID, ensuring effective user provisioning, Single Sign-On (SSO), and secure access control.
- Implement automation for routine network tasks and cloud operations using Azure Automation, PowerShell, or other automation tools.
- Manage Azure Backup and Disaster Recovery processes to ensure data integrity and security.
- Maintain and optimize Azure Networking components (Virtual Networks, Load Balancers, Firewalls) to ensure high availability.
- Implement and maintain network monitoring platforms, Azure Security Center, and Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS) to safeguard network integrity.
- Diagnose and resolve complex networking and cloud-based issues in hybrid and multi-environment setups.
- Actively support team members and respond to end-user issues, both on-premises and in cloud environments.
- Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation of network topology, configurations, and procedures.
- Coordinate third-party security testing, analyze results, and implement remediation steps to address vulnerabilities.
- Oversee data migration and management for clients transitioning from on-premises to cloud-based solutions, including Azure databases and storage solutions.
- Design, configure, and manage data center infrastructure within private cloud environments (e.g., NextDC, Rackspace) to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability.
- Provide hands-on expertise in virtualization technologies, including VMware and Hyper-V.
- Lead and manage IT projects, ensuring timely delivery, resource optimization, and stakeholder alignment.
Technical Skills:
- Design, implement, and support secure, high-performance network infrastructures, including Ubiquiti and Palo Alto Networks devices.
- Hands-on experience with RMM tools for monitoring and managing cloud and remote environments.
- Experience with PSA tools for managing service delivery and streamlining workflows.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes for service management, incident handling, and SLA compliance.
- Experience with ITSM tools like Autotask, Zendesk, ServiceNow, or Jira to manage support tickets and incidents efficiently.
- Experience managing VoIP systems and VPNs to ensure secure communication and remote access.
- In-depth knowledge of core networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP) and Azure Networking components.
- Strong expertise in Azure AD and Microsoft Entra ID, including conditional access, security policies, and identity management.
- Experience with Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) and Managed Detection and Response (MDR) for securing endpoints.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Intune.
- Experience with data migration, cloud automation, and securing cloud-based infrastructure in Azure environments.
- Expertise in providing remote troubleshooting and managing distributed infrastructure across multiple sites.
Qualifications:
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator Associate, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), and ITIL Foundation certification are highly desirable.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
- 5–8 years of experience in a Level 2–3 networking and cloud infrastructure role, managing and troubleshooting complex network and cloud environments.
- Experience working in an MSP environment with proven experience in Azure migrations and cloud service delivery.
- Proven experience working with Datto RMM, PSA, and ITSM tools to manage support requests, service delivery, and incident resolution.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL processes for efficient service management and SLA adherence.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, with excellent prioritization and task management.
- Manage and troubleshoot 3CX VoIP systems to deliver reliable, high-quality communication solutions for customers. Experience with 3CX is desirable.
- Experience with private cloud data center setups (e.g., NextDC, Rackspace) is desirable.
