The Role You will join a high-performing team advising on a broad range of public sector disputes and advisory matters, including administrative law reviews, tort claims, regulatory issues and complex litigation.
The role also offers unique exposure to royal commissions, inquiries and inquests, with opportunities to work across high-profile national matters.
You will assist with legal research, drafting, strategy development, evidence preparation and end-to-end matter management.
There is also scope for client secondments, cross-practice collaboration and involvement in business development initiatives.
About You 2–3 years' post-admission experience, including litigation and dispute resolution experience from a reputable commercial firm, government practice or judge's associateship; A solid understanding of administrative law and / or tort law (advantageous but not essential); strong drafting, analytical and organisational skills; The ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced practice; A genuine interest in government decision-making, public policy and regulatory frameworks; and a collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills.
