Tender Manager – Civil & Infrastructure

Dynamic Hydro Excavations is a leading Australian contractor specialising in non-destructive digging, hydro excavation, CCTV pipe inspections and civil support services. With depots across NSW and QLD and continued national growth, we are seeking an experienced Tender Manager to take ownership of our tendering function and support ongoing business expansion.
This is a key role within the business, suited to someone who understands civil construction, values structure and accuracy, and can confidently manage tender submissions from opportunity identification through to award.
About the Role
Reporting directly to senior management, you will manage the full tender lifecycle across government, Tier 1, Tier 2 and private sector clients.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing end-to-end tender submissions (EOIs, RFQs, RFTs)
* Researching and identifying tender opportunities aligned with company capabilities and strategy
* Reviewing tender documentation and identifying commercial, contractual and technical risks
* Coordinating inputs from operations, estimating, HSEQ and leadership teams
* Developing clear, compliant and compelling written submissions
* Supporting pricing strategies in collaboration with operational and commercial stakeholders
* Maintaining tender registers, timelines and compliance checklists
* Managing post-tender clarifications and negotiations
* Providing regular reporting, insights and recommendations to senior management
* Continuously improving tender systems, templates and win strategies
About You
This role is suited to an experienced Tender Manager or Senior Bid Coordinator who enjoys ownership, accountability and commercial involvement.
You will bring:
* 3–5+ years’ experience in tender or bid management within civil, construction or infrastructure
* Strong written communication and document control skills
* High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
* Solid commercial awareness and risk identification capability
* Confidence working with senior leadership and operational teams
* Proficiency in MS Word and Excel and experience with tender portals (e.g. VendorPanel, ICN, etc.)
* A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach
