About the Role
As a Control Systems Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering complex projects while working alongside a talented engineering team.
You'll be responsible for:
Contribute and lead projects of varying size, scope, and complexity
Providing technical expertise inPLC, SCADA, HMI, DCS, instrumentation, and automation systems
Preparing scopes of work, execution plans, and schedules
Acting as Job Supervisor for assigned projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to required standards
Ensuring compliance with safety, governance, and quality systems
Liaising directly with clients and fostering strong relationships
About You
Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Control, Instrumentation, or related field)
3+ years technical design experience in automation, control, and electrical projects in a contracting/project delivery environment
Strong experience with PLC, SCADA, HMI, and DCS systems integration
Proven track record of delivering projects on time and on budget
Excellent technical writing, communication, and client-facing skills
Desirable expertise in one or more of the following areas will be highly regarded:
Functional Safety & Risk Management (incl. HAZOP leadership)
Hazardous Areas compliance
Industrial & computer networking
Major project contract management
Application-specific systems (e.g. boiler controls, mining automation)
