We are currently recruiting for the newly created role of Food and Dining Care Worker at Bethanie Beachside, located in Yanchep. Bethanie Beachside is one of our larger sites with 160 beds, providing specialised high-level acuity, dementia, and palliative care.
In this role, you will assist during meal times to enhance the dining experience and provide opportunities for residents to share food and drink with loved ones. You will also assist with mobility and personal care as needed.
We are seeking applicants willing to work at least three shifts per week, primarily in the afternoons from 3:30 pm to 8:00 pm on weekdays and weekends.
As a Food and Dining Care Worker, you will positively impact residents' quality of life and wellbeing through enjoyable, culturally inclusive dining experiences daily.

* Experience in aged care or hospital environments (desirable)
* Excellent customer service skills and a passion for older people's needs
* Ability to understand diverse individual needs and work collaboratively
* Effective verbal and written communication skills
* Reliability and a strong work ethic
* Willingness to uphold Bethanie’s Mission, Vision, and Values
* Willingness to obtain relevant vaccinations
* Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to apply for one
The Role
* Assist residents with eating and drinking based on their nutritional needs and support requirements
* Monitor food and fluid intake
* Assist with daily routines such as showering, continence, and pressure area care
* Understand residents’ meal preferences and involve them in meal planning
* Serve morning/afternoon tea and supper
* Contribute to care planning and reviews
