Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Rigging Supervisor to join our team and play a key role in the planning, coordination and execution of heavy lift operations on our major project.
The successful candidate will have significant experience as a structural or rigging supervisor on major projects, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
* Liaise with procurement personnel to ensure all necessary materials and consumables are available for the project.
* Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and engineering documentation to inform decision-making.
* Plan, schedule, conduct and coordinate detailed phases of assigned project work to meet project targets.
* Supervise and coordinate structural, mechanical and piping installation activities to ensure safe and efficient delivery of the project.
As a Rigging Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that safety, quality and environmental standards are consistently met or exceeded. You will also lead daily pre-start meetings and toolbox talks to maintain team engagement and safety focus.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Significant experience as a structural or rigging supervisor on major projects.
* Experience with managing blue-collar crew and subcontractors.
* Experience in multi-discipline, mining project delivery.
* Ability to read and interpret design drawings, schematics and other engineering drawings.
* Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage performance effectively.
* Strong understanding of SMP construction methodologies and industry best practices.
* Solid knowledge of safety systems, permit-to-work processes and risk assessments on large projects.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a high-pressure, schedule-driven environment.
* Competency in using construction management software and Microsoft Office suite.
