About the role
The Senior D365 CRM Developer plays a pivotal role in enabling ARO to achieve its business goals by managing, designing, developing, and optimizing Dynamics 365 CRM solutions that drive internal improvements.
This role is responsible for the full lifecycle of CRM enhancements—from requirements gathering to testing, deployment, and ongoing support. You will work closely with business stakeholders and the D365 Functional Consultant to ensure that CRM solutions deliver measurable value, streamline workflows, and support business transformation. Additionally, you will apply project management skills to plan, coordinate, and deliver CRM improvement initiatives.
You will be part of the ARO central services team, focused on projects and improvements which will deliver the greatest benefit to ARO. You will work with key stakeholders and the teams responsible for operating ARO processes, ensuring at every stage that they are engaged to make the project a success.
Objectives:
* Develop a single Prospect to Order platform that enables the business to "fly";
* Migrate of all in-scope business units and users onto a common platform.
* Work with the sales and marketing community to deliver process and system improvements that increase sales conversion rates and reduce sales admin time.
* Use self-service, AI, automation and process efficiencies to reduce the cost to serve and improve customer and user satisfaction.
What you'll do
* Business Process Expert: Become a subject matter expert on core ARO sales and marketing processes, so you are best placed to understand issues, the implications of proposed changes, and provide stewardship to ensure the integrity of core ARO processes.
* Solution Design: Architect and propose CRM solutions, including customizations, integrations, and automation.
* Development: Build, configure, and customize Dynamics 365 CRM components, plugins, workflows, and integrations.
* Documentation: Prepare detailed technical and functional documentation, including user stories and specifications.
* Testing and Validation: Lead testing efforts to ensure CRM solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
* Deployment and Support: Manage deployment of CRM enhancements and provide ongoing support.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Work with key stakeholders to ensure solutions deliver intended benefits.
* Training: Provide documentation and training for users.
* Continuous Improvement: Monitor CRM usage, gather feedback, and drive enhancements.
* Manage day to day operation; including user access, security, performance and maintenance.
* Manage environments (e.g development, test, production) and support releases, patches and upgrades.
* User Incidents and Requests: Manage CRM-related user requirements with functional consultant.
* Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and manage CRM improvement projects, including scheduling, resource allocation, risk management, tracking, and reporting.
What we are looking for?
Essential:
* Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM (functional and technical).
* Proven ability to translate business requirements into effective CRM solutions.
* Experience with Power Platform including Power Automate and Power Apps.
* Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal.
* Strong stakeholder management.
* Proficiency in C#, JavaScript, Power Platform, SQL.
* Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
* Demonstrated project management skills including planning, scheduling, and stakeholder communication.
Desirable:
* Experience with C# or .NET for plugin development.
* Microsoft Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant certification.
* Experience integrating CRM with other business systems.
* Understanding of ISO27001 aligned operational and security controls.
