Associate Head of Campus – Mount Isa Flexible School (Fixed‑term, Full‑time)

Salary: Assistant Principal Level 1-3 with remote area provisions and accommodation allowance.
ERSA Flexible Schools offer a full‑time and multi‑year secondary education and social inclusion program for disenfranchised young people. The program provides a varied and holistic set of learning experiences supporting them to identify and pursue an individual transition to adulthood, employment, further education, and training.
About the Role
This position provides leadership support across Mount Isa Flexible School and works closely with the Head of Campus, Area Principal, and the Regional Support Team.
Key Responsibilities
* Hold tertiary qualifications in teaching, eligible for Queensland College of Teachers registration; alternatively tertiary qualifications in Social/Behavioural Sciences (e.g., Social Work, Community Services, Psychology) with a valid Blue Card and current open driver's licence.
* Demonstrate commitment to the values of Edmund Rice Education Australia and to building just communities based on inclusive community, gospel spirituality, justice and solidarity, and liberating education.
* Show leadership in developing and maintaining programs for young people at risk.
* Provide assistive leadership to staff, engaging in reflective practice to enhance learning for disenfranchised young people.
* Lead trauma‑transformative practice and wellbeing support, helping young people build a learner identity, achieve positive social outcomes, and re‑engage in education.
* Design and implement a range of learning choices and assessments that meet diverse characteristics, needs, and learning styles of young people at risk.
* Lead a multi‑disciplinary community reflecting on working together under the principles of respect, safety and legality, honesty, and participation.
* Maintain a current Working With Children Check.
