Position Overview
* Position Title: School Cleaner (Multiple Positions Available)
* Workload FTE: 20hrs/week (0.53FTE) Approx. 3pm - 7pm
* Employment Basis: Permanent Part Time
* Anticipated Start Date: January 2026
Role
Join our dedicated Facilities team to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our students, staff, and visitors. As a School Cleaner, you will play a vital role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our campus
Key Responsibilities
* Perform daily cleaning of classrooms, offices, and communal areas
* Replenish supplies and follow established cleaning schedules and procedures
* Ensure all surfaces, floors, and fixtures are sanitized and presentable
* Safely use and store cleaning chemicals and equipment
* Report maintenance or safety issues promptly
* Support College events and activities with additional cleaning as required
* Work collaboratively with the Facilities team to uphold College standards
Selection Criteria
The successful applicants will have:
* A commitment to the Christian ethos and College values
* Previous experience in commercial cleaning (educational setting preferred)
* Reliable, punctual, and committed to high standards
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Committed to safe work practices and reporting maintenance or safety issues promptly
