Global Food & Wine and Viande Group are one of Queensland's leading Food Service & Hospitality Suppliers providing exceptional products and service to our clients. Due to recent growth we have a new opportunity for an experienced Butcher to be part of our meat processing facility on the Sunshine Coast (Kunda Park).
Working in a varied and fast paced environment, the successful candidate will be responsible for efficient meat cutting operations and ensuring orders are filled to specifications through good time management and ensuring high quality of products and services by following WH&S, FoodSafe and HACCP guidelines.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Meat cutting and processing
* Portion Cutting
* Manual handling (lifting up to 20kg cartons)
* Ensuring warehouse safety and HACCP/FoodSafe compliance is met
To be successful in this role, you must have:
* Qualifications as a Butcher
* Portion cutting experience
* Attention to detail
* Commitment to food & people safety requirements
* Ability to work on your own & in a team environment
* Ability to lift up to 20kg cartons
* Availability to work 4am to 12pm (Monday to Friday)
