Underground Fitters | 2:2 roster | FIFO | WA
CELOTTI WORKFORCE is currently seeking experienced Underground Heavy Diesel Fitter to join our clients' operations in the WA. Ideal candidates will have proven experience with underground hard rock mining equipment and a strong commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform rebuilds, maintenance, and mechanical repairs on a range of underground drill rigs and associated support equipment. (Sandvik and CAT underground drills and boggers)
- Carrying out component inspections, overhauls, and assemblies in line with OEM specifications and site standards.
- Conducting fault diagnosis and troubleshooting across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with OEM guidelines and mine site procedures.
- Working collaboratively with maintenance teams to achieve equipment availability and reliability targets.
- Maintaining accurate service and repair documentation to support reporting and compliance requirements.
Our Ideal Candidates:
- Australian-recognised Heavy Diesel Trade Certificate
- Experience with underground hard rock mining equipment, heavy underground equipment (Minimum 3 years' experience)
- Valid driver's licence and ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screen
- Perform scheduled servicing, minor rebuilds, and preventative maintenance on a range of HD Mining equipment
- Diagnose faults, troubleshoot issues, and carry out repairs
- Identify, assess, and refurbish parts and accessories for reuse
- Meet maintenance deadlines and contribute to workshop efficiency
- Work effectively in a multicultural team environment

- Flights from anywhere in Australia, meals and accommodation are provided when on roster (House accommodation, not caravan)
- Permanent, full-time position with annual & Sick Leave Entitlements
- $80 to $85 per hour with Superannuation paid on all hours worked
- 2/2 FIFO roster (Day shift one week, Night shift second week)
