Job Description:
We are seeking a talented researcher to join our project team to develop next-generation Direct Air Capture (DAC) technology and design a bespoke solvent-reclamation process to support technology scale-up.
* We aim to advance the development of liquid absorbents for CO2 capture, working towards more efficient and sustainable solutions.
* You will contribute to the development of the Ambient CO2 Harvester (ACOHA) technology, which uses liquid absorbents and thermal regeneration to capture CO2 directly from air.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and implement reclamation processes for novel capture agents, ensuring process efficiency and minimal environmental impact.
2. Develop unit operation simulation models and tools to assist in understanding equipment operation and support equipment design.
3. Assess currently available process concepts for liquid absorbent reclamation through experimental evaluation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A doctorate in a relevant discipline area, such as chemical engineering, physics or industrial chemistry.
* An understanding of separation processes and their associated mass transfer phenomena without and with chemical reaction.
* Demonstrated experience with laboratory skills, including experimental facility design and gas and liquid analysis.
Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary package and flexible work arrangements to support your career development and work-life balance. We also provide opportunities for professional growth and skill development, as well as access to state-of-the-art facilities and equipment.
Other Opportunities:
Celebrate and respect cultural diversity, and strive for inclusivity and accessibility in all aspects of our business. Consider applying if you're looking for a challenging and rewarding role that aligns with your values and goals.
