About the Role
* You will join our team as a key point of contact for customers, providing personalized service and support to help them achieve their goals.
* Your primary focus will be on developing and managing a portfolio of key customers, building strong relationships and identifying opportunities to increase income.
* In this role, you will also be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the credit risk profile and profitability of the portfolio.
Your Key Responsibilities
* To personally develop and manage a portfolio of key BFS customers and Referral partners.
* Maintain and enhance the credit risk profile and profitability of the portfolio.
* Prepare and submit for approval business lending proposals outside own authorities with full justification for recommendations, including obtaining and analyzing industry and business information.
* Provide professional and ethical behavior in your actions by ensuring compliance with external legislation, bank standards and internal operating policies and procedures relevant to the position.
The Ideal Candidate
* We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual with experience in business banking and/or credit assessment.
* A background in home lending or CLS would be highly regarded.
* You should have strong relationship management skills, problem-solving abilities and negotiation skills.
* Furthermore, you should be motivated to build genuine personal connections with our customers.
