Clinical Psychologist / Clinical Psychology Registrar
The primary role of this position is to provide high-quality clinical services to clients with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop tailored treatment plans in consultation with multidisciplinary teams;
* Provide expert psychological interventions and support services, including those related to mental health and disability;
* Collaborate effectively with Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Behaviour Support Professionals, and other relevant professionals to achieve optimal outcomes for clients;
* Design and deliver training sessions and professional development programs for staff and community members on topics related to clinical practice and quality improvement;
* Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that enhance clinical practice and overall service delivery.
Requirements:
* Hold a tertiary qualification in Psychology and possess full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA);
* Have clinical psychology endorsement or be eligible to complete this endorsement;
* Demonstrate extensive experience in working with individuals who have intellectual disabilities, mental health issues, and/or experiences of trauma who require complex support services;
* Show evidence of expertise in providing clinical and behaviour assessment, intervention, and support in the disability, out-of-home care, and/or other relevant sectors;
* Hold a current driver's license, Working with Children Check, and NDIS Worker Screening clearance.
