About the role
We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to provide financial, administrative, and clerical support to the Finance Team.
Maintaining and updating the accounts payable database to ensure that supplier details are current, accurate and not duplicated.
Managing the accounts payable inbox & responding to queries.
Month-end reconciliations.
Managing foreign currency transactions.
Reconciliation and management of loan accounts.
Monitoring compliance with tax coding requirements.
Ensuring employee expenses are within company policy and appropriately approved.
Maintenance and archiving of electronic and physical documents.
Making recommendations as to process improvements.
Following invoice approval process in line with relevant delegation of authority.
Processing a high volume of invoices in accordance with month-end deadlines, ensuring they are paid within supplier terms.
Identifying issues, investigating, and achieving resolution within appropriate timeframes.
About you
A formal qualification in Cert IV Accounting & Bookkeeping or a relevant qualification will be highly regarded.
At least 2 years experience in a similar role.
Solid experience in Excel and Navision (Microsoft Dynamics).
This position is available to start in January **** to cover a one-year maternity leave.
